We designed Kubo Care’s alert experience to tackle the challenge of keeping families informed without overwhelming them. Each alert is triggered only after the caregiver has assessed the situation, ensuring relevance and accuracy. From a design perspective, we focused on clarity, prioritization, and actionable options. Key information like fall type, location, and time is instantly visible. This approach reduces anxiety, builds trust, and empowers families to make informed decisions, providing them a peace of mind.
We created a simple interface that helps families track emergency response in real time showing ambulance status, emergency contacts, and live updates without adding extra work for caregivers. Falls are a major but unseen issue, affecting over 37 million seniors worldwide each year and leading to injuries, disabilities, or even death. Our solution helps families stay prepared and confident when it matters most.
